Novelgen Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture; Representative Director: Atsushi Ogura), a startup spun out of the Nagahama Institute of Bio-Science and Technology, will exhibit at a booth at "Global Startup EXPO 2026 (GSE2026)," to be held in Osaka from Monday, October 5 to Wednesday, October 7, 2026. In addition, our CEO, Mr. Ogura, will give a pitch at the "Kansai GX Co-Creation Forum," organized by the Union of Kansai Governments as a side event of GSE2026.
On the day, we will present the results of the social demonstration of our microalgae cultivation system "Bloomo®," which we have advanced under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) "SME Innovation Promotion Program (SBIR Phase 3 Fund Project)," as well as the water purification and resource recycling business using microalgae that has been derived from it. We are seeking partners to advance these businesses together.
