Novelgen Co., Ltd. has been selected for the Spring 2025 round of the PwC Foundation Grant Program.
The outline and purpose of the funded project are as follows.
Theme 2: Resolving the Protein Crisis
"To establish technology to raise seed (spat) of Pacific oysters that tolerate high temperatures, and to develop a Pacific oyster seed production system combined with our proprietary microalgae growth technology. Through this initiative, we will build a Pacific oyster seed production system in which oysters can grow healthily even in high-temperature environments, reduce the risk of Pacific oyster mortality, and aim to realize sustainable aquaculture."
